“The perfect picture is the perfect creation, the Creator have poured upon us the symbol of perfection and all things that surrounds us is for us to value”. Al Martinez was born in the Philippines. Nature’s wonder surrounds him everywhere. From tropical trees to greenly mountains and satire flowers. Artistic inclination started early in his life with an Architect father and some artist brothers. Both, helped influenced his artistic upbringing. Presently, he leaves in Rawdon, Quebec Canada at Maison Val de Paix, a community house of the Chemin Neuf (Catholic Community with an Ecumenical Vocation) He was able to take advantage of the serenity that inspire him to search for greater beauty in all things. As a member of the community, he was also sent to travel often to do mission works. Traveling is a gateway to see the beauty that everyday life has forgotten. And also the moment that can be a blessing for beautiful shots. Experimental Photography can be an interesting endeavor but results are always different. That’s what is interesting on the topic. No the same photo can be taken. With the technology that always knocks at our doors, Photographers are always challenged to go further than an ordinary shot. Al has been using several means to make more artistic the pictures that he is been taking. |
